At least 6 months before or earlier for destination weddings
If ordering printed Save the Dates, order at least 1 month before your intended distribution date, or earlier if you want something more intricate.
If you do not intend to send out printed Save the Dates, best to inform your guests of the event beforehand through a digital Save the Date, a wedding website, or even a Facebook event page.

At least 3 months before your intended distribution date
Reach out to your artist to begin the invitation design process. For Bespoke Invitation Suite, give at least 4-6 weeks to conceptualize, create, and finalize the design layout.
As soon as the invitation layout is finished
While waiting for your formal invitations in production, you may request from your artist an e-invite copy for you to send to your guests beforehand. This gives them a heads up on your wedding details, especially for destination weddings for them to plan their trips ahead.
2 months before your intended distribution date
Send the invitations to production. By this time, all invitation details should be final to avoid delays in the production. Give another 4-8 weeks for the production, as it varies depending on the printing techniques, embellishments, and quantity availed.
Your guestlist must also be finalized at the start of the production for our reference on the envelope addressing.
Allot at least 1-2 weeks for shipping of the invitations to you (especially for international clients).
when to distribute?

If you have sent out Save the Dates or digital invites earlier, you may send out your printed formal wedding invitations to your guests at least 2 months before your wedding, which can also serve as a reminder for your guests about your big day.
During the proposal stage, I will present a project timeline for each client on the tasks and deliverables for the wedding invitation. Since every single step in creating your Bespoke Invitation Suite is personalized and handmade, best to schedule everything advance since each process takes a lot of time and effort.
